Pet Care Specialist

This position offers a variety of responsibilities which include feeding our pets, potty walks, one on one enrichment activities and providing tender loving care to our boarding friends! The primary role of one of our pet care specialists is to provide safety while supervising playgroups of up to 20 energetic dogs! Oh, although it is rewarding and fun to be surrounded by high energy, cute and cuddly pets, there is also a lot of cleaning and picking up all different shapes and sizes of poop while you are here! It is just as important to keep our day care rooms and their suites extra clean! We feel it is important to mix up your shift while you are here so you get to experience all the joys and the smells that come with the perks to working in a daycare and boarding facility. We also feel it is just as important for you to be happy while you are here and to grow as individuals while you make your job a home away from home yourself. We realize for some of you that this will not be your final job destination but we hope that while here you enjoy yourself, learn, and become a better worker and individual once you leave! We can try to work around most schedules if it is part time work that you are looking for. We do ask, if this is not your final destination, that you are able to give us 6 months to one year of employment as there is a lot of training and trust that we instill into you!

Shift times vary from a 6am start to a 10pm finish and you must be available to work weekends and holidays. Everyone working at Resorts Boarding is expected to contribute in providing a superior customer service experience for the pets while in our care and their pet parents.
Some of the finer details include, but are not limited to: being able to handle the physically demanding responsibilities of standing on your feet, lifting up to 45 + pounds, able to bend, lift and crouch, walk and/or handle dogs ranging from 10-150+ lbs, clean, hear, observe, work in a face pasted environment and more.

We feel when you leave your home to come to a job you should love where you work. We want our employees to all work towards our common vision. If you are hired to work here it is based on a tier system with room to develop and grow and be rewarded with perks as well!

Pay ranges from $15.50-$17.00 and we are on a tier system which will increase your base pay based on your motivate and growth!

Part-Time Groomer
We are looking for a caring, creative, and experienced pet groomer to join our team to pamper and style our wonderful four-legged clientele.

  • Must have at least 1-year experience as a groomer in a professional salon.
  • Confident in breed-specific cuts and styles
  • Provide examples of previous work and level of skill
  • Have work references in the related field
  • Be equipped to handle and help fearful, stressed, or shier pets
  • Resorts Boarding and Play is a fast-growing boarding, daycare, training, and grooming facility located in the bustling Village of Hamburg. The grooming schedule can be flexible with your hours but you must be able to work Mondays and most Saturdays (half day at least). We are innovative and always offering only the best for our clients from the shampoos we use to the quality of service provided.

Daycare & Boarding Team Specialist

About Resorts Boarding and Play

We are a full-service luxury kennel offering doggie daycare, boarding, grooming, and training for dogs. We have a variety of suites for boarding, four daycare playgroups each day with playgrounds and toys, full grooming services, and training. We are an evolving daycare facility with enrichment to better the lives of the dogs in our care.

Oh, although it is rewarding and fun to be surrounded by high-energy, cute, and cuddly pets, there is also a lot of cleaning that comes with it. It is just as important to keep our daycare rooms and their temporary homes while their owners are away extra clean! We feel it is important to mix up your shift while you are here, so you get to experience all the joys and the smells that come with the perks of working in a daycare and boarding facility. We also feel it is just as important for you to be happy while you are here and to grow as individuals while you make your job a home away from home yourself. We realize some of you that this will not be your final job destination, but we hope that while here, you enjoy yourself, learn, and become a better worker and individual once you leave! Customer Service Representative

Resorts Boarding & Play is looking for an outgoing, upbeat, and friendly individual to join our team as a customer service specialist. We are a fast-paced, high-capacity daycare, boarding, grooming, and training center located in the heart of the Hamburg village. We have a passion for dogs, their happiness, and their safety! The individual must love dogs, be a quick learner, capable of multitasking, able to walk dogs to and from the lobby and kennel area, perform under the stress of a busy lobby, have some knowledge of social media, be familiar with working with a computer scheduling system, and be able to communicate effectively with our customers, as well as promote and sell our many services. The job entails answering phones, performing check-ins for daycare and boarding, selling add-on services or upgrading stays or grooming, communicating with local veterinary clinics to verify vaccines and tests, calling clients to confirm upcoming reservations, conducting tours, texting clients, checking emails, creating social media posts, and sharing information with new clients. You must be able to physically handle dogs weighing 10-100+ lbs, lift 40+ lbs, bend, stand, walk up stairs, sit for extended periods of time, and perform cleaning tasks if needed.
